Sunday October 4, 2009 What is absurd today?

Restaurants that put the French word “Le” in front of their name, such as “Le Bakery”. Do they do this because they want to seem more sophisticated? Do they do this because their customers will think their food tastes better if the restaurant has a French atmosphere? I think it is ridiculous for restaurants add a little "French seasoning" to the name of their store, because it shows poor taste and can be an indication of poor quality.
